Hmmm...I'll start out with this little bit, and come back another time and write down some more specific goals and such. I need some advice about some things, too, so hopefully you smart girls can help me out.
I feel like I ate like a hog today. I think that sitting around with access to food is definitely a huge problem. I need to make more of an effort to get off my butt and do something around the house if I'm hungry. Or keep some gum around or something.
Nonetheless, with all my "shopping" (I wound up buying Ryan a $150 mp3/video player for only $20...go marce!), and my short stint at the gym, I managed to rack up over 8300 steps. I went to the gym tonight and was on the elliptical for 30 minutes. The pedometer says I did 2988 aerobic steps today. It also says I went 4.25 miles and burned 534 calories. I tried to lift weights tonight, but I only managed to go on one machine.
I just don't feel well. I haven't felt well since right around when I left for Minnesota. I've been having intermittent digestive issues. Tonight when I got on the weight stuff my guts just killed me. I don't know if its because of my hormones being out of whack, or what. I just don't feel well. I have an appointment with my general practitioner late next week, and I have an ultrasound having something to do with this fertility medicine I'm taking early next week.
I'm babbling. Take care, dear friends.

Can I ask what kind of symptoms are you having?
ReplyDeleteI have lots of diarrhea. It's usually throughout the day, not right away in the morning. SOMETIMES, not all the time, I have lots of gut pain that precedes or accompanies the diarrhea. I'm also nauseated occasionally throughout the day. I don't ever throw up, I just feel gross. I felt that way this morning, and I'm sure it will reappear sometime again today. Blech.
ReplyDeleteAsk your doctor to do a celiac test on you because those are the exact symptoms that I had. I would barf occasionally, but I felt like it a lot and the diarrhea happened a lot. Do you feel bloated when you eat? Seriously though, not that I want you to be on a gluten-free diet too, but that is the exact same thing that happened to me and doctors often won't suggest the test. However, if you have the blood test done, eat some pasta or a sandwich before going. It will come out negative if you don't have gluten in your system. God's blessings, dear!
